This Privacy Policy details our collection, use and disclosure of personal data of the individuals who seek employment or related services (hereinafter “Jobseeker” or “Private User”) and access and/or use the services of Bestjobs’ website and/or mobile application (hereinafter "Personal Data" or "Jobseeker’s Personal Data"). Also, it aims to inform of the rights and choices that Jobseekers have in relation to the referred Personal Data. DGNET Ltd is committed to maintain the privacy and secure Jobseekers’ Personal Data.

To create an account and/ or use other services of our website, it may be necessary that you provide us with the following data: first and last name, email address and, if the case, a password.


If you use a Third-Party Service (as defined in our terms of use) to create an account, and if so, enabled on the web portal, we will receive Personal Data via that Third-Party Service, but only when you have consented to that Third-Party Service sharing your Personal Data with us. Furthermore, you may include on your profile your academic information, work experience, personal skills, preferences, interests, photograph (s), your city or location. DGNET’ purpose through the services offered on Bestjobs’ Site is to facilitate the contact between Jobseekers and Employers that offer employment openings by offering them tools and services in order to support the job search process in their country.


As Jobseeker, when you register or access our Site and/or App, we may use your Personal Data for the following purposes:


  • 3.1. In order for us to provide you our services in the best possible way:

    • To create an account on the Bestjobs’ Site.
    • To help you establish contact with the Employers through your application to their job postings. To this end, depending on the privacy settings you choose, the Employers may access to your contact information and your resume despite not having apply to any job posting.
    • Allow the search of your profile as Jobseeker (according to your privacy settings) through the Jobseekers’ database in Bestjobs.
    • Edit and manage your resume on your private area.
    • Automatically and free job alerts via electronic means. When available on the Site, you can request to receive job alerts through Third-Party Services or Applications. Your use of these Third-Party Services or Applications will be governed by and subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the Third-Party Services or Applications. DGNET is not responsible or liable for such Third-Party Services or Applications.
    • Instant messaging service with Employers to facilitate the communication with them. Please note that when using the contact form or chat in the user area, you will be using our messaging service. Messages and advertisements are reviewed to prevent fraud, abuse or misuse of our services. Also, when available on the Site, communication with Jobseekers may take place through other Third-Party instant messaging services that are integrated into the Site and in case you have them available on your devices. Your use of these Third-Party Services or Applications will be governed by and subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the Third-Party Services or Applications. DGNET is not responsible or liable for such Third-Party Services or Applications.
    • Management of our services and daily business tasks, including reminders, technical alerts, updates, security alerts, and support messages, among others. When you use our customer service contact form, your data will be used to answer any queries you may have through this form.
    • To send commercial and promotional communications to inform you about our products, services and events, as long as we have your consent to do so.
    • To moderate and display, anonymously, the employer’s reviews, interview reviews, salary reports and other content you have submitted for the benefit of our other users.

  • 3.2.To improve the services that you subscribe by analyzing your use of the Site and/or App through Cookies in order to personalize the Site to your interests. You can manage the Cookies following the instructions stated in our Cookie Policy.
  • 3.3.To create a commercial profile based on the information you provide to show you personalized advertising profiled through cookies, provided that we have your consent to do so. The legal basis regarding the purposes set out in point 3.2, 3.3. and 3.4. relies on your consent.


Also, the collection and processing of your Personal Data for the purposes set out in point 3.5. and 3.6 is the legitimate interest pursued by DGNET as data controller.


Additionally, for the purposes set out in point 3.7, the legal basis relies upon the compliance with the relevant legal obligations of DGNET.

The Personal Data provided by you will be stored while your account on our website remains active or to the extent necessary to provide our services, until you request its erasure, and also during the necessary time to comply with relevant legal obligations.

The Personal Data that you provide us with will be shared with the Employer when you apply to an offer, in order to enable the contact with such Employer or when you are searched on the Jobseekers’ database (depending on your privacy settings).

 

On the other hand, during the course of our activities and for the same purposes as those described in this Privacy Policy, your Personal Data may be processed by our suppliers, -including companies pertaining to DGNET’ corporate group- which provide us services, such as hosting, systems infrastructure, maintenance, support, marketing, software development, notifications, services, among others.

 

These providers may be located in jurisdictions that do not provide the same levels of security as the jurisdiction in which you are located, in which case DGNET will implement the necessary legal mechanisms to protect the Personal Data. To these effects, DGNET has subscribed the relevant data processing agreements with each supplier that provides us services in order to ensure that your Personal Data is treated with due confidentiality, adequate protection and only for the purpose for which they have been communicated, having limited access to such information and processing it in accordance to DGNET’s instructions.


The processing of Personal Data by DGNET will imply that they are transferred internationally. DGNET will provide the services through the cloud with Amazon Web Services, a company that is certified by the Privacy Shield of the European Union and the United States of America (EU-US).

Also, your Personal Data may be transfer for compliance with a legal obligation.

  • Access your Data: you can request us a copy of your personal information.
