Description
- 1. Overall responsibility of the Guest Experience - From ensuring
the lodge is ready for guests, including the rooms, grounds and
vehicles.
2. Clients - Guest journey in rooms to include Welcome
cards, toiletries, details in room etc, meet & greet, tour & briefing,
indemnities and check in; activities on site. Company CRM to be
updated on client departure to brief colleagues at other properties
3. HR and Staff Relations – defining of roles and responsibilities within
the management team; working with Heads of Department.
Manpower planning, staff relations, staff committees, staff welfare;
salary structures, training and development; reviews, tipping,
uniforms etc. Legal aspects of HR and staff.
4. Cuisine and Kitchen – menus, preparation, menu planning, ordering of dry goods and
perishables and presentation in keeping with company standards.
Ongoing training of waiting, bar staff and duty managers on table
laying, use of different glasses, cutlery, crockery.
5. Financial -management of budgets; understanding of monthly income
statements, fixed, variable costs, assets, stock and inventories.
6. Responsible for ensuring that all necessary licenses and
registrations are in order.
7. Environmental management – understanding and embracing our commitment to Go Green.
Recycling, waste water management and no single use plastic.
8. Working with community partners
9. Security – team of security staff
10. Office Administration – handling of all communications and
responsible for licensing requirements, health & safety, insurance,
petty cash, accounts with supplier and review of suppliers.
11. Maintenance – ongoing house maintenance, upkeep of grounds;
review of water and electricity use; vehicles and equipment
planning, inventories. - Number of vacancies: 1
