    Responsibilities

    Ensuring that all delivery and goods received notes for previous trip are received and updated in the system before new loading instruction is raised (handover the fully processed documents to accounts with accompanying email)
    Manage transport operations including approval of job cards and coordination of breakdown in liaison with fleet officer when on night shift.
    Proper record keeping of all trucks/trailer documents i.e. Insurance, NTSA, Speed governors, Tracking certificates etc. and ensure that all expiring documents are provided to the transport manager 1 month prior to expiry (Ensure that trucks have valid and matching document in any case of swapping)
    Raise petty cash voucher for the driver’s mileage as required and issue gate passes to authorize departure.
    Live Tracking – enables real-time monitoring of current location on the map displaying the latest locations.
    Ensuring that fleet follows authorized routes only. Any driver diverting from authorized route this should be escalated immediately to fleet officer if explanation is not gotten within ten minutes this should be escalated to security manager.
    Recording fuel issued and odometer reading to manual book and ensure it is signed by the driver.
    Taking both dip and pump meter reading on closing and opening of shift.
    Qualifications

    Diploma or Certificate in Logistics & Transport Management or Clearing & Forwarding added advantage.
    Computer literate
