  • The company is looking for self-driven applicants to fill the position of Online Marketing Assistant.
    Details Responsibilities:
    Assists in ensuring that the company websites are always operational and up to date Assists in developing marketing strategies to promote the company and boost company sales Prepare and ensure the quarterly newsletter is circulated on time and managing the contact database Assists in updating agents on the current situation in the country and region that is directly related to tourism Lias with designers in developing marketing, advertising and branding materials to ensure brand consistency and integrity.
    Maintain current knowledge of the tourism business community and the tourism industry in Eastern Africa and other destinations.
    Developing and maintain a distinct online presence by attracting high numbers of internet followers through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
    Contribute to writing dispatching email marketing campaigns and promote social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns
    Researching new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums; Requirements Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma in Communications/Marketing/or Tourism related field. Good writing skills for producing high quality content;
    Attention to detail and accuracy;
    Capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects;
    Excellent team work skills;
    Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas;
    Should be comfortable using Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver Knowledge in Joomla Content Management System is an added advantage
