I graduated from Egerton University in the year 2009 with a Bsc. in Biomedical Sccience and Technology. I have worked as a field officer with Innovations for Poverty Action-Kenya (IPA) for period of one year. IPA is a nonprofit organization that creates and evaluates approaches to solving development problems, disseminating information about what works and what does not to policymakers, practitioners, investors and donors around the world. In Western Kenya, I have worked with IPA on projects touching on Health Economics, among them Artemisinin Combination Therapy (ACT) and H.I.V Biomarkers. I am currently working with International Livestock Research Institute’ laboratory in Busia as a lab Technician in the project People, Animals and their Zoonoses. As a young, focused and talented upcoming scientist. I have keen interest in working projects that focus on Medical Research and community health policing. Works on medical research are primarily important to me and it will be a great opportunity for me to explore my scientific potential. Both my written and spoken English and Swahili are good, and I am able to communicate effectively. I have good knowledge of computer systems and proficient in Microsoft office applications.
