Opportunities to manage and improve qualityandproduction operations. I am a graduate from Egerton University with a second class honours (lower division) degree in Bsc. Chemistry major & Mathematics. I am trained on implementation of Kaizen practices from Kaizen Institute Global- that include Lean Management, inventory management and Autonomous Maintenance, a certified ISO 9001:2008 QMS Internal auditor and implementation core team member. I have also attended First-aid & Fire fighting courses. Currently, I am the Operations manager in charge of quality, production, inventory management, statutory, regulatory and customer feedback. I have ten years experience in manufacturing industry. My experience has been in the field of quality assurance (quality control and process capability audits), production planning and management (involving Work In Progress management, planning of most economic runs based on pull system, monthly forecast broken down to departmental targets based on equipment efficiencies and Kaizen (continual improvement projects). This has been acquired through working with Associated Battery Mfg (EA) Ltd and currently, Frontier Power Industries. I am a member of the KEBS Technical Subcommittee, involved in standards reviews. I am a team player and ready to take new challenges. I also posses excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and very much involved in developing quality training programmes, delegation/staff ownership of quality and traceability during production process.
