Company description:
The mission of Maasai Education Discovery (MED) is to help the Maasai people of Kenya and Tanzania, especially women and girls, as well as other marginalized peoples without access to quality education achieve sustainable development and gain greater access to educational opportunities which are currently denied them. MED facilitates the self-representation of the Maasai within Kenya and internationally, and supports the sustainable economic development of both Kenya and the Maasai people. Within this mandate, MED promotes a bicultural approach to education between people of Western nations and the Maasai, utilizing both Western and Maasai sources of information and approaches to education.
